Women in Evolutionary Biology is an event to promote diversity and equality in the field. For this purpose, we bring together female scientists from different backgrounds working in evolutionary biology for scientific presentations and discussion sessions on topics relevant for women in science.
The event’s main focus is science, and while all keynote speakers are women, everyone is welcome to participate by giving a short scientific talk or presenting a poster. We also aim to facilitate discussions about being a woman in academia. Thus, the conference includes dedicated discussion sessions addressing relevant topics that currently affect female scientists during their professional development.
