Information on data processing pursuant to Art. 13 DS-GVO
This data protection information applies to data processing in the context of your registration for the workshop "Evolutionary Rescue - bridging the gap between theory and experiments".
Purpose of data processing and legal basis for data processing
The data will be used for the organisation of registrations and the implementation of the workshop program of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, Plön.
Fields marked with * must be filled in for a successful registration process. If this data is not provided, you will not be able to complete the registration process. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DS-GVO, ], as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c due to legal storage and documentation obligations (funding and tax law).
Fields that are not marked with an * can be filled in optionally. By doing so, you authorise us to store and process this data for the purpose of registration. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
Recipients or categories of recipients
The processing of your personal data takes place for the purposes of registration and organization of the event. A passing on of data to third parties does not take place.
Storage duration
Your data will only be processed for as long as is necessary for the planning and final implementation of the event or due to legal restrictions. Since Catering will be provided, the data will be stored ten years due to a legal documentation obligation.
Your freely provided data will be stored until you revoke your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. To do so, please see contact details above.
Rights of data subjects
You have the right to obtain information on the data stored about you by MPG, the right to demand correction in the event of incorrect data or deletion in the event of unauthorised data storage, and the right to data transfer.
