If you want to be successful in science, you need to pay close attention to the way you present your work and your personality in public. Your appearance must be based on your professionalism and confidence.

In this workshop we will focus on developing your self-presentation based on your own individual strengths. A variety of practical exercises will help you to train the conscious use of your body language. The concepts of status and other communication patterns will be introduced and deepened so that you can decode and recognise "games" of power and status. This will help you to overcome traditional patterns so that you can also react consciously in conflict situations.

Let's not fool ourselves: The situation at universities and other research institutions is still largely shaped by patriarchal norms and role expectations. Thus, women are often still forced to adopt behaviours that are interpreted as typically male. Therefore, in this workshop, we will show solutions and alternative ways of acting - especially with regard to self-confidence - and anchor them by means of practical exercises.

The ultimate goal is to strengthen your confidence in yourself through empowerment so that you can fully realise and use your own potential - regardless of your personality type.
